Cooperative Extension Specialist in the Deptartment of Entomology at UC Riverside\, the discussion covers habitat management\, insectary plantings that support biological control\, and the cultural practices that bring an integrated approach to life across the vineyard.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n​July 22 – Opus One Trial Vineyard – Ground Cover\n​Join Kimberlee Marinelli\, Dave Kaplow\, and Selena Vengco for a field-based discussion exploring how ground cover management can support soil health\, water management\, and vineyard resilience in organic systems. Using Opus One’s native grass trial as a case study\, speakers will share the goals behind the project\, review first-year establishment results\, and discuss practical considerations for species selection\, weed management\, grazing and mowing\, erosion control\, and soil moisture management.
