Per our Terms and Definitions, Processing is any stage in the supply chain where ROC materials (i.e., plant or animal products) are modified. Processing may include activities such as slaughter, milling, cooking, mixing, and packaging a final product. Processing may occur at a separate facility or on-farm. If the latter, then the farm or ranch is both producer and processor.
An example of this would be an operation that both grows Regenerative Organic Certified® coconuts then processes them into coconut products (i.e. coconut oil, sugar, etc.) and sells these products with Regenerative Organic Certified® claims under its own label and packaging.
If your operation intends to do similar transformation of any type of farm output into packaged Regenerative Organic Certified® product, then answer "Yes" below.
If your operation is considering doing this but it is yet to be determined, then answer "In consideration - please ask again later in our certification process" below
