Salary: $70,000-$75,000 USD Annually

Position Overview:
The Brand Engagement Manager at the Regenerative Organic Alliance (ROA) will play a pivotal role in partnering with our growing network of Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands to drive consumer awareness and demand for ROC™ products. This position will act as the main point of contact with ROC™ brands and the ROA marketing team to manage a coordinated consumer campaign inclusive of paid social, PR, shopper marketing and corporate development training. The Brand Engagement Manager will work closely with the ROA team to network with and better understand the marketing, storytelling, and distribution needs of ROC™ brands, develop proposals to meet these needs through the ROA’s Allies Campaign, and coordinate increased visibility of ROC™ brands in coordination with an outside creative agency. Additionally, ROA’s Brand Engagement Manager will work with members of the ROA supply-side team to help CPGs connect with potential suppliers that meet their long-term product roadmap and assist in developing impact reports based on their ROC™ sourcing strategies.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a CPG company to develop marketing and consumer awareness campaigns. They should have a proven track record of working with both agencies and retailers, especially natural food retailers like Whole Foods and Sprouts, to build brand visibility. The candidate should be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for regenerative organic practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Consumer Awareness Campaigns: Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive consumer awareness and demand for ROC™ CPG brands.
- Coordination with Retailers: Collaborate with natural food retailers like Whole Foods and Sprouts to build brand visibility and manage coordinated shopper marketing campaigns.
- Networking and Storytelling: Work closely with ROA’s team to network with ROC™ brands and understand their marketing, storytelling, distribution, and sourcing needs.
- Media Planning and Reporting: Develop and manage media campaigns to ensure advertising reaches the intended target audience, maximizing impact and brand awareness. Conduct market research, choose the best media channels, work with media buyers.
- Proposal Development: Create proposals to meet the growth needs of ROC™ brands through the ROA’s Allies Campaign.
- Supplier Coordination: Work with the ROA supply-side team to assist ROC™ brands in connecting with potential suppliers that align with their long-term product roadmap.
- Agency Coordination: Lead all creative agency relationships to develop and manage campaign assets in connection with the growth needs of ROC™
- Impact Reporting: Support partner CPGs in developing impact reports based on their ROC™ sourcing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the ROA marketing team and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing & storytelling efforts.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify opportunities for brand growth and consumer engagement.
- Brand Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate brand performance, including awareness, perception, and market share.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in branding and marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience
– Proven experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles within a CPG company.
– Thorough Knowledge of Brand Marketing Performance Indicators- inclusive of awareness, consideration and conversion metrics.
– Previous experience in Media Buying and Budget Management required.
– Experience working with natural food retailers is highly desirable - Skills: Strong understanding of brand strategy, consumer behavior, and market dynamics. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Leadership and team management experience. Proficiency in marketing tools and software.
