Regenerative Labels, Real Impact: Building Credible, Resilient Supply Chains

Friends of the Earth webinar tailored to food manufacturers, retailers, and distributors navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of regenerative food labeling. Drawing on a new analysis from Friends of the Earth, this session will examine how regenerative certification programs can serve as powerful tools for advancing supply chain goals — from reducing pesticide use to strengthening climate resilience and protecting biodiversity. We’ll explore how different labeling approaches can help companies meet distinct business objectives, whether responding to consumer demand for cleaner products or engaging a broader network of farmers in continuous improvement. At the same time, the discussion will underscore that not all programs are created equal. Structural integrity — grounded in credible standards, third-party verification, and traceability — is essential to ensuring that regenerative claims deliver real impact and maintain consumer trust. Attendees will leave with practical insights to evaluate labeling programs, align sourcing strategies with sustainability commitments, and make informed decisions in a crowded and competitive marketplace.
