ROA Fiber & Materials

ROC Sourcing Pathways

The Regenerative Organic Alliance helps brands, retailers, sourcing teams, buyers, and supply chain partners engage with ROC fibers at different points in the value chain. Whether you are looking to secure cotton upstream, integrate ROC yarn or fabric into your existing supply chain, source finished ROC products, or discover direct-to-consumer ROC brands, this page is designed to help you find the right starting point.

ROC Fibers are designed to support transformation across the textile industry by connecting farm and origin programs, supply chain partners, brands, retailers, buyers, and consumers through clear sourcing pathways.

How brands and buyers typically get started:

  • ROC Fiber-Forward Procurement: for brands and retailers looking to support farm-level transition, participate in pre-procurement, strengthen supply assurance, or build a longer-term ROC fiber strategy before committing to a specific finished product program.
  • ROC Yarn / Fabric Procurement: for brands and retailers seeking to engage through materials rather than finished goods, especially those with established Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier relationships who want to integrate ROC yarn or fabric into their existing supply chain.
  • Turnkey Finished ROC Product Program: for brands and retailers that want a practical, lower-friction way to bring ROC into market through finished product programs and supply chain execution.
  • Direct-to-Consumer ROC Brand Discovery: for retailers, buyers, and consumers looking to identify ROC brands already offering finished product in the marketplace.

If you are ready to register for the ROC Fibers program, choose a button below to visit the page most relevant to your organization. You can register, sign up, or become a licensee.

Egedeniz Regenerative Practices
No-till cotton cultivation using direct seeding into mulch to reduce soil disturbance and CO₂ emissions. Natural vegetation is retained as mulch, and a diverse cover of crop mix (pea, triticale, barley, oats) is used to build soil health and maintain year-round ground cover. Nutrients are applied through drip fertigation with certified organic inputs.

Social Impact Highlights
In partnership with ETO and UTAEM, this initiative is developing a scalable, evidence-based model for regenerative cotton in Turkey’s Aegean Region.

Pureplenish Farmer Producer Company Limited
Pureplenish Farmer Producer Company Limited

Organization positioning

Pureplenish Farmers Producer Company Limited is managed by Agrigenic Farmers Producer Company Limited and is responsible for overall project operations, farmer engagement, procurement, and implementation of activities across the program.

Regenerative Practices

Regenerative agriculture practices focus on strengthening soil health, biodiversity, and climate resilience through diversified systems like crop rotation and intercropping. Farmers are supported in using organic and biological inputs, alongside soil-restoring amendments such as biochar, compost, and manure. Practices like green manuring and the integration of horticulture crops further enhance soil fertility, improve moisture retention, and diversify income. Together, these approaches promote ecological restoration, sustainable cotton production, and stronger livelihoods for smallholder farmers.

Social Impact Highlights

Strengthened women’s empowerment and rural livelihoods by developing artisan clusters in hand spinning, weaving, and tailoring, while improving market access through partnerships with brands like Fabindia. Supported rural education through digital learning tools and enhanced curricula for more accessible, interactive learning. Advanced community resilience through water conservation initiatives, including pond restoration and watershed interventions, enabling significant rainwater harvesting and improved groundwater recharge in rainfed regions.

Transition Programs

Pureplenish Farmers Producer Company Limited is currently working with approximately 3,500 farmers under our organic and regenerative agriculture programs. Out of these, around 1000 farmers are fully certified under the USDA-NOP organic standard, while the remaining 2,500 farmers are under organic in-conversion cotton cultivation, progressing through the transition phase toward full organic certification. In addition, around 1,500 farmers within the project (farmers from in-conversion) are certified under the regenagri standard.

The project is also being developed under the Verra carbon framework using the VM0042 methodology for agricultural land management and regenerative agriculture interventions. The draft Project Design Document (PDD) has already been submitted, while the final PDD submission and appointment of the Validation and Verification Body (VVB) are currently under process for carbon project registration and future carbon credit generation.
