Decades without sugarcane burning combined with regenerative practices of organic management made available the main resources necessary for the survival of faunal populations: food, reproduction, and shelter. Among the main results, there was a significant increase in biodiversity and population stability of more than 340 different species of higher vertebrate animals on our farms. With that, we were the first food company in the world to achieve the certification of an ethical sourcing system granted by UEBT.
